Hello, my name is Eugene Kazantsev. I’m a professional concert and session musician, composer and music producer. I have been playing the balalaika for more than 30 years. I started playing this beautiful instrument in music school when I was just 6, then music collage and finally I graduated from Ukrainian National Music Academy in Kyiv.
I have a great experience as a solo concert
musician, played balalaika in professional Russian folk orchestras, and
different folk bands. I started one of the most famous folk bands in
Ukraine «Bryats Band» (https://www.youtube.com/user/Bryatsband) and for the last 15 years, I’ve been touring, playing
concerts and gigs, creating music with my balalaika.
